Available for hire, MV Reliance can cater for up to 30 passengers and is the perfect venue for your next party or group gathering.
In conjunction with our alliance partner, Banksia Ferry Charters and their classic timber ferry, we can also offer a two-boat charter catering for up to 60 people.
MV Reliance offers the classic style of a historically significant timber vessel with lots of varnished timber, comfortable seating and amenities, open and spacious for entertaining, large iceboxes for drinks and a central table for food presentation. Bring your own provisions or catering can be provided on request.
In addition to our Ku-ring-gai chase charters and scheduled cruises, our two classic ferries are also available for hire in Pittwater and Broken bay. Perfect for birthdays, weddings, corporate functions and transfers to the many bays and beaches in Pittwater, including the Basin, Scotland Island and Church point.
Private Charter Mid-week over winter
A two hour "mystery" cruise is just enough to see a slice of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park, where we will travel at a comfortable pace and can investigate some of the bays, creeks and anchorages in the Coal & Candle, Cowan and Smiths Creeks or Refuge and America Bays.
Half Day (4 hours) we are able to explore deeper into the creeks and bays and even stop, look and listen to the natural beauty of the environment. Enjoy the fine food and drink that is onboard in the wilderness on Sydney's doorstep.
Scheduled Cruise
Over Winter our scheduled cruise departs from the Bobbin Head public wharf at mid-day.
On Saturdays we cruise up the Cowan and into Smiths Creek and on Sundays up to Jerusalem bay.
Offering a per head price for a 2 hour voyage from Bobbin Head departing at noon returning at 2pm.
Further times, either morning or afternoon, are available on request.
For Ku-ring-gai Chase national park tours and scheduled cruises, boarding is at Bobbin Head Public wharf where there is excellent access to the boat and good parking.
Our flexibility is the key to your enjoyment on the water and if necessary there is always a nice protected bay somewhere. Your skipper has been researching this for years with a few stories to tell along the way - we aim to please!
